At Our Lady & St Paul’s we use Jesus as an example of everything that we should say and do. We celebrate how each of our children are unique and made in the image of God. Our mission statement is evident in all areas of our school.
We ensure Gospel values are understood and evidenced in policies and procedures of the school. We listen to and engage with scripture during collective worships and child led worship and take key messages in how we behave and the example we set to others.
We are proud of our children’s behaviour and our children demonstrate they are courteous and considerate inside and outside of the classroom. Our welcome in school is warm and inviting and our children, staff and visitors feel safe and valued. Pupils know about different forms of bullying and are aware of a range of prejudices. Every individual in school is treated with dignity and the respect that adults and children have for one another is evident in every interaction.

Year 6`s class worship included a deep, personal reflection this week, focussing on those no longer with us, and holding them in our hearts and minds. We hope to honour them and remember them always. We send love and gratitude to them and God, in heaven.

🕊️ November – A Month of Remembrance and Prayer 🕊️

During November, the Church dedicates a special time to remembering and praying for those who have died.
At Our Lady and St Paul’s, we have created a Book of Remembrance to honour and remember our loved ones who are no longer with us. ❤️
We warmly invite our school families and parish community to contribute to this special book. If you would like us to remember someone dear to you, please feel welcome to send in their name, a photograph or a special prayer to be included.
Throughout November, we will keep all those remembered in our book close to our hearts and in our thoughts and prayers, giving thanks for their lives, the love they shared and the precious memories they have left behind.
May they rest in God`s eternal peace and may their loved ones find comfort in His everlasting love. 🕯️

The children In Key Stage 2 would like to invite our families and parishioners to an Advent prayer and card making session. Each session will begin with a prayer and some carols sung by the children and this will be followed by Christmas card making. Tea, coffee and mince pies will be available to purchase.
